SIGNATURE EVENTS

NewVue Communities places great importance on being a good community partner. Sometimes we lead and sometimes we follow, but every time, our goal is to help make a difference.

This beautification campaign has become an annual event in May, in coordination with Crossroads Church, Highland Community Church, Elm Street Community Church and with other local churches for the improvement of the local community. The campaign includes: clean-up activities; light repairs and maintenance of public parks, public schools, nonprofit organizations, and even private homes and buildings. The campaign mobilizes approximately 300 Volunteers and Community Stewards in a special day of service.

National Night Out

This annual community-building event promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. Typically held the first Tuesday in August, this event is planned in close coordination with the Fitchburg Police Department and the local community. The event includes a Resource Fair and a Family Friendly Festival. The event mobilizes approximately 50 volunteers and Community Stewards and attracts approximately 400 community residents. This event is part of the National Night Out network.

A public event implemented by the ReImagine North of Main Initiative, with NewVue Communities’ support. Business owners and organizations line the sidewalk on Main Street – providing a safe an fun Halloween gathering in Fitchburg.  This event is free of charge and open to the public.
