Over the past 20 years, we’ve helped thousands of people just like YOU achieve the American dream through our First-Time Homebuyer Education Classes. Both our in-person and online classes are CHAPA (Citizens Housing and Planning Association) certified and accepted by both state programs: MassHousing and Massachusetts Housing Partnership One Loan.
Homebuyer education classes led by NewVue staff entail a total of nine hours and are held monthly. Over three sessions, you’ll learn about the homebuying process from a team of staff and guest speakers, including a lender, realtor, attorney and home inspector. At the conclusion, you’ll receive a letter stating you’ve completed the course. Virtual classes cost $50 per household. Class series are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, once per month. Participants MUST attend all THREE NIGHTS.

Step 1: Submit your Homebuyer Intake Form (email to info@nvcomm.org, fax to 978-345-7905 or mail to NewVue Communities, 470 Main Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420)
Step 2: Submit your $50 payment for the Virtual Class (click “Add to Cart” button )
Step 3: Again, you MUST submit both intake and payment to complete your registration. If a class registration is CLOSED, your completed registration will be accepted for the following scheduled class. You will receive a confirmation email from NewVue Staff.
A non-refundable payment is required for homebuyer education course registration.
The Online Homebuyer Education Course allows you to complete the class at your convenience, on your own schedule. After you finish the modules, you’ll complete an advising session to receive your Certificate of Completion. The advising session will be held virtually during business hours. The online homebuyer education course costs $75 per household. This online course is Chapa Certified and accepted by both state programs, MassHousing and Massachusetts Housing Partnership One Loan.
