NewVue Holds Immigrant Rights Training

NewVue Communities is hosting a free immigrants rights training workshop to help community members understand their rights and prepare them for an emergency.

During this virtual workshop, Francisco Ramos, NewVue’s Director of Community Organizing, will discuss a variety of topics related to safety, privacy and preparedness.

Participants will learn how to develop an emergency plan, how to protect their children, and what to do in the event of a U.S. Immigration & Customs raid.

The workshop will be held each Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. from Jan. 22 through March 12.
