Mobilizing Moments

Community traditions and celebrations are important. They provide spaces and moments for residents to share local histories and cultures, and they can help to nurture a sense of pride and belonging in neighborhoods. NewVue Communities supports the organization of several community celebrations and mobilizing moments throughout the year.
NewVue Communities relies on concerned residents like you! Sign up today to receive updates on volunteer opportunities, events and community happenings that effect you and your neighborhood! Mobilizing Moments:

Community Clean-Ups
We partner with the City of Fitchburg, Fitchburg State University, ReImagine North of Main and Crossroads Community Church to organize city clean-ups. Last year over 500 people volunteered during our May event.

Trick or Treat on Main St.
Our annual Trick or Treat on Main St. event provides a fun and safe place for Fitchburg children to celebrate Halloween and draws hundreds of residents to come together and have a good time in our city’s downtown area.

Warm Coats Warm Hearts Drive
We are proud to help the Burlington Coat Factory and K.ID.S/Fashion Deliver connect to families in need as the local partner of the Warm Coats and Warm Hearts Coat Drive.

Porchfest @ North of Main
Porchfest is a music festival where local musicians & artists showcase their talents on porches & lawns. It is a grassroots community event that aims to connect & celebrate the residents.
