Housing Development

On August 29th, 2018 we officially broke ground on the Carter School construction project! If you are interested in the rental units that will be coming through the project please email carterschool@wingatecompanies.com.

NewVue Communities believes that having a safe, healthy, affordable home is a great foundation for a good life, a strong neighborhood and a vibrant city.

We help transform neighborhoods by taking the worst properties in the area and transforming them from vacant buildings and liabilities into housing: both affordable and market rate and both apartments and ownership homes.

We build some commercial properties as well.

A great neighborhood is not just a place, but a place we call home: with people, houses, schools, jobs, parks, and a complex web of values and cultures that makes the place itself unique.

We focus on those neighborhoods where the private markets won’t invest, and where government doesn’t have the expertise.

We rebuild neighborhoods by helping to make them places where people will choose to live and businesses will want to locate.

Over the past ten years we have built apartments and homes.

You can help us build our next project:

a large brick building with the windows and front door covered with red painted wood

Carter Jr. High School, Leominster.

We plan to take this historic school that has been vacant for numerous years and is collapsing in on itself and put it back into productive use with 39 affordable apartments. We expect that the building will be LEED certified and placed on the national register.

a 3 floor brick building with aged and weathered shingle siding on the top floor, decorated windows, and a covered entrance with 4 red pillars, with temporary metal fencing in the front

BF Brown, Fitchburg.

This project will create a mix of both affordable and market rate apartments. This project, located across the street from the Fitchburg Art Museum will be home to about 50 artist-preference apartments.

the entrance to TD Bank at 470 Main Street in Fitchburg, MA, a tall cement and brick building with arched windows

Main Street, Fitchburg.

The three building campus will help bring the creative economy back to Main Street in Fitchburg. Saima Hall, Fitchburg: We are upgrading this building by adding three new apartments and improving life and safety features such as sprinklers and accessibility. This project will start in February 2016.

a red brick storefront with green bordered first floor windows, green lamps, and horizontal sign reading: Greater Gardner Community Development Corporation

Central Street, Gardner.

This building has been vacant since we discovered an indoor air quality problem. We are in the process of assessing the issue and remediating the air quality problem in the building.
